Here you can see and book a stay at my beautiful house called "Tres Mares" (= Three Seas) in the Algarve in Portugal.
Três Mares is at a high point of a ridge, 100m above sea level, with has unsurpassed views of countryside and a grand vista of the Atlantic.The old towns and beaches of Lagos and Luz are to east and west. The front gate leads directly into orchards and vineyards towards the foothills of Monchique.
A cobbled driveway through old oleanders, olives, almonds and fig trees welcomes you to a family home without close neighbors, gardens overflowing with flowers, terraces with fruit trees, shaded lawns ....One hectare of grounds.

The size and layout of Tres Mares and of its grounds makes it very suitable for two or three different generations and/or different families.
With 6 bedrooms, it has plenty of room for up to 14 people, as well as space and facilities for many different activities, boisterous swimming and ball games to loud music, quiet reading, different TV stations, the privacy of comfortable bedrooms, hosting other holidaying families, leisurely, memorable, well-shaded meals on the terraces or by the pool.
There is a telephone with internet broadband connection and wi-fi. The villa has an alarm system, wired to a central station, designed primarily for use when the house is not occupied.
There are comprehensive House Notes. Non-smoking is requested for safety reasons. The house has cavity wall insulation and a roof membrane everywhere, to help maintain an even temperature, so heating through wall panels is more than enough. The total grounds of the house are about one-hectare (10,000 sq m.).
Villa Três Mares is right next to Lagos and Luz Beaches.
Covered verandas are on two sides, with tables for outside dining and with many comfortable chairs. Large pool (12 by 6 metres), blue-tiled, ideal for games and exercise, with diving to 3 metres depth, underwater lights, and 3 sets of steps. Heated by heat pump for which a charge is made. In the pool area are tables and chairs for 20 in verandas.
The Badminton Court is nearly full-sized and equally useful for ball-games. The Pool Kitchen has BBQ and hob/oven, large fridge/freezer etc. All plastic plates and bowls. Changing Room with a shower (there is another) and WC.
Reclining Sun-Loungers -12 or more - and 12 or more sun-Umbrellas. The total grounds of the house are about one-hectare (10,000 sq m.). Below the pool are shade houses for a wide variety of plants which can be visited. There is a gardener two days weekly. The pool is serviced every week.
Prices quoted are in Pounds per week for a maximum of 14 people, and include all utilities and use of the unlimited high speed Internet access.

For longer term bookings a deposit equal to one month's rental is required. The tenancy agreement is for a limited term.

In most cases we can be flexible with these times to fit in with our client's flight times, but have to know beforehand.
We accept children. For the comfort of our guests we also ask that guests observe a no-smoking policy within the Villa. We also ask guests to kindly observe the very simple and common-sense "rules" concerning life in the Algarve. These rules are outlined in the house book.
We do not ask for a security deposit. Encase there are items broken during their stay. To save you time we can replace them and send you an invoice for immediate settlement.
Under no circumstances will we accept liability for any injury sustained to our guests or their visitors whilst on the premises, or for loss or damage to their personal property.
